This Saturday, some (6) of my Korean students from last semester decided we should have a BBQ. So we did. They brought "American" food, which meant tuna on crackers with half a grape on top, pop, fruit, and cupcakes. I provided hot dogs, pasta salad and smores, which they were a bit apprehensive about. T-rav had his first experience hanging out with a culture with which he's not too familiar and he got to see how much Misha (the tall, round-ish boy- the other two peeps had already left when we took this picture) loves me.
Next time, they promised t

o have both of us over to one of their apartments to make us Korean food (Trav can hardly contain himself with excitement).
Three random things about Koreans: (1) they think their faces are huge and will often try to cover part of their face when having their picture taken, especially when with an American; (2) they think
all American food is "sweet;" (3) they think their food is healthy because it's fermented, a process we consider to be rotting. Weird.

I don't like Korean food...well I don't think I have ever had it, but I doubt I would like it. Its probably close to Chinese and Japanese food...and i REALLY don't like that. Anyway- did they eat the smores? I love smores. I miss smores. Pop tart's smores are SO good, too.
