Such as the one about Asians being rill rill smart:Today one of my Korean students told me that her 10 year old daughter just won a spelling bee in school. Did I mention that she's been here for less than 1 year and barely spoke a word of English when she got here?
And she won the spelling bee for her entire grade.
It's ok to be impressed. I was.
Oh, and exciting news: I've decided to start an International Student Choir (club) at UVU. So as of next semester, I get to be a choir director. Coolies eh?
Now if you have any ideas for songs, I'd happily take suggestions...

Congrats to her! I was always good at my spelling bees (you would never know that by how I type....stupid keyboards) So, you should sing some afro gospel music for your choir! ;) Or just look at some of annie beaucage's old concert programs. She used to have a few decent things in them....
That's so neat about the choir. Having never been in a real choir (I don't think one semester of Russian choir at BYU counts . . .) I don't have any suggestions for songs but I hope you post a few clips of your choir on your blog!
