Apologies

As my sister just pointed out, my blogs have been a bit sparse lately. This is partly due to the lack of regular internet...and a lack of things to say. I could tell you about my daily routines. I'm sure you'd find it just fascinating. About as fascinating as watching dust collect on your book shelves. And I've been fresh out of controversial topics to discuss. And I haven't read anything that warrants its own post. And I haven't gone anywhere. And I haven't seen anything (mems how I didn't get Wicked tickets with Lindsey last week?). You're starting to get the picture, right? My life is rather dull right now. I get up, go to work, teach/tutor for a few hours, go home, work out, make dinner, read, sleep, start over. Not that I mind. It's been kind of a nice change...though I'm getting a little sick of it. I need some adventure. Or something to make all you people comment on my blog. I love comments. I miss having good post. And getting good comments. I need to get my act together and post something worthy of comments. Sorry to disappoint, but tonight is not that night.

Go look at my cooking blog. I've been posting plenty on there to make up for my lack of posts here.

Life is boring sometimes, that is just the way it is. Oh, I made the tortellini soup and the buttermilk biscuits...SO GOOD! I have a soup recipe that is really similar that I love, but those biscuits were divine, I probably ate like 6. Needless to say, I love your cooking blog.

Today is "National Bike to Work Day" so I tried it. I've lived here for two years and never ridden my bike out of the neighborhood... unless you count driving my bike to a trail then starting from there.

The upside: I'm awake and my heart is pumping to start out the day.

The downside: Do I stink now?

And to think people like Jason do triathalons that span more than 15 minutes in the saddle.

I thought about biking to work yesterday, but then I realized that a large hill by the name of University Avenue stood in my way. So I rode my scooter. That's eco friendly, right? Right?

I miss commenting on your blog. Maybe I need to go to Utah so we can get worked up about some issue or problem (since T-rav and J don't get worked up with us). Then you'll have material for another post.

Kelly I cannot tell you how disappointed I am that you did not bike to work. And University Avenue is not a large hill. It is a bump. Wimp! :-) Now Miller Hill, which I did twice on Saturday, is a big hill. Up about 800 feet in 1.2 miles. I did 52 miles Saturday on the bike. Got caught in a big thunderstorm that was so bad I had to stop for a while because I could not see. How am I ever going to be able to take you with me to ride the French Alps if you wimp out over a little roller?

Ah, but University Parkway is kind of a big hill.

How 'bout an adventure in DC? I have otter pops.
